About the Event

World Fair Trade Day is a global celebration dedicated to promoting ethical trade, sustainable development, and economic empowerment for disadvantaged producers and artisans. On 12th May 2024, EMA India proudly joined this worldwide movement by organizing activities that emphasized the values of fairness, dignity, inclusion, and responsible commerce.

The event served as a platform to showcase handcrafted products created by skilled artisans while raising awareness about the importance of Fair Trade in improving livelihoods. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the craftsmanship, dedication, and cultural heritage behind each handmade product.

Throughout the celebration, participants engaged in meaningful discussions on ethical sourcing, sustainable production, and the positive social impact of Fair Trade practices. The event also recognized the contributions of women artisans, persons with disabilities, and rural craft communities who continue to preserve traditional skills while building sustainable futures.

World Fair Trade Day 2024 reaffirmed EMA India’s mission of creating equitable market opportunities and promoting products that are not only beautifully handcrafted but also ethically produced. Every purchase made through Fair Trade supports dignity, empowers communities, and contributes to a more inclusive and sustainable world.
